WHAT We have developed a series of high-performance billet camshafts for your Holden V6 SIDI engine. Designed to deliver real-world horsepower and torque gains, our SIDI cams won't compromise the drivability of your vehicle, like some cams can. You are provided with four brand new billet camshafts, so there is no need for change-over or deposit and we have packages to suit every model and transmission. This package provides power gains up to 30rwkw from 1500rpm to redline. Power keeps climbing as the rev limiter range is increased which means even greater power gains can be achieved. This increase has been achieved without sacrificing any noticeable low-end torque or drivability. Despite the excellent performance characteristics of this package, the engine remains tractable and responsive at low speed. These cams have been designed to be used with the standard valve springs and engine components, so you are not required to replace any other engine components. HOW The camshaft is one of the most vital components inside your engine, controlling when and how the intake and exhaust valves open and close inside your cylinder heads directly affecting not only how much power you make, but where in the rev range it does it. By altering key attributes to camshaft design we've been able to offer a series of camshafts that provide maximum drivability and economy, whilst also offering up to 30rwkw power gains. This cam package can be fitted by any good mechanic and we have made installation even easier by loaning out our installation tool in conjunction with fitting instructions for the job. Infiniti releases first look at JX crossover
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Infiniti on Thursday released a first look at the JX seven-passenger crossover it plans to build at the Nissan assembly plant in Smyrna, Tenn. A concept of the JX will be shown publicly during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August, and the production version is scheduled to debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November. The Infiniti JX is set to go on sale in spring 2012 as a 2013 model.
Subaru XV gets another price cut – down by £2300 across the XV range
Mon, 01 Jul 2013The Subaru XV (pictured) gets a price cut of £2,300 across the range Over a year ago, Subaru launched the new XV in the UK with a starting point of £21,995, Which was decent value for an able Crossover/SUV. But by May of 2013, Subaru had decided there was room to play with the XV’s price – or at least on the 1.6 litre petrol version – and they announced a £1300 price drop for the entry-level petrol XV. But now, just six weeks later, Subaru has decided that the weakening Yen has given them more room to manoeuvre on price and have announced they’re cutting prices across the whole XV range by £2300 (which actually means £1,000 off the new price for the 1.6 litre petrol).
Alfa Romeo and IED collaborate on 'Gloria' concept for Geneva
Mon, 18 Feb 2013The European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin will unveil its new Gloria concept, developed in collaboration with Alfa Romeo Style Center, at next month's Geneva motor show. The sports sedan concept, which is 4,200mm long, 1,920mm wide, 1,320mm high sitting on a wheelbase of 2,900mm, is previewed in this render, which shows a traditional Alfa grille that feeds into the hood's prominent V-shaped character lines. Two leather hood straps in front of the windshield are a nod to the brand's older models.
